After decades of doubt there now appears to be a genuine bonding between the heads of the two halves of Cyprus.  It brings an injection of interest from Overseas Investors wanting to look at North Cyprus for Property Investment Oportunities.

Monthly meetings that have received wide media coverage locally have lead to a renewed feeling amongst people on both sides of the border that a settlement is imminent in the not too distant future.

The most concerning issues being debated have always been about land ownership.  However with the passage of time many of the historical ties are disappearing naturally.

There thought that there would be animosity amongst the peoples of either side are largely exaggerated and not representative of the younger generations.
